Itinerary For The 2008 IWWB Dallas Bible Conference

We want to thank Deedle and Marissa, Darrell and Kristi, LaCour, for hosting this second annual Dallas, Texas, IWWB Bible Conference.

Friday evening

As is our custom Friday evening is reserved for fellowship with all who are able to arrive that evening. Those who come early can meet and fellowship in the lobby of the hotel. Sandi, Austin, and I are flying in this year and our plane arrives in
Dallas at two P.M.  We will be at the Hotel and in the lobby as soon as we can to meet every one as they arrive. Deedle and his family have made dinner reservations for 7 P.M. at a local restaurant and have invited all who want to come and eat with us that evening. Check out the information Deedle has posted for that evening and for Saturday and Sunday. Friday nights are always a wonderful time of fellowship and are always a wonderful way to begin a weekend of sharing with each other what Christ is doing with each of us.

Saturday morning

8 to 9 A.M. - Breakfast and fellowship.

9 to 10 A. M. -
Steve Crook will be speaking. Steve has entitled his talk 'Godly Love.' You can be sure that God has given Steve an insight into this topic that you will find edifying and revealing.

10 - 12 Noon -  This period will be a time to ask questions and get answers from those with whom you are fellowshipping.

12 noon to 2 P.M. - The LaCour family will be providing a free grab and go lunch (sandwich, chips, desert and drink) at the hotel on Saturday.

2 - 3 P.M. - Rick Olson will speak to us. The title of His talk is "The Spiritual Reality Of The Spring Holy Day Season". God has given Rick a gift for seeing the spiritual application of His Word that will benefit us all.

3 - 4 P.M. - Debbie Beeler and Deedle LaCour will be entertaining us with their individual gifts from the Lord. Debbie has a wonderful singing voice and it is rumored that Deedle plays the guitar. I look forward to seeing this performance. If there is any time after they finish we will use it for fellowship until 4.P.M.

4 - 5 P.M. - We will have a power point presentation from a young man whose name is Dave Rogers, from Rochester, New York. God has laid it on Dave’s heart to take the entire IWWB web site and put it into e-sword modules. He has labeled these modules Treasury Of Articles, or TOA. When you insert these modules into your e-sword, a little box containing the letters TOA will appear both in the commentary and in the dictionary sections of e-sword.

Once these modules are installed whenever you are reading a verse of scripture on e-sword, a little white circle with the letter i will show up in the TOA box if that verse of scripture has been written about on the
iswasandwillbe.com web site. Just click on the TOA box when the little i shows up and you will be given a list of every letter in which that verse of God's word has been mentioned. Then you can click on each letter and the entire letter with all the scriptures hyper-linked, will come up in the dictionary section of e-sword.

This should be a real asset for getting answers to questions you may have. As the scriptures prophesied:

Dan 12:4  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

All who have been reading the IWWB site for any period of time are aware that the "time of the end" began only after Christ and it has been the "time of the end" ever since Christ. Daniel was told to "shut up the words and seal the book." But John was told:

Rev 22:10  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Daniel tells us plainly that "the time is at hand," means "the time of the end."

Here are the verses for that statement:

1Pe 1:10  Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you:
1Pe 1:11  Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
1Pe 1:12  Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

God's Word was "sealed up" to the Old Testament prophets, but it is not sealed up to those upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

1Co 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world [Greek, aion] are come.

You and I, and every one of God's elect since Christ, are living in the "time of the end," spoken of by Daniel, and Daniel, under the inspiration of the holy spirit has prophesied that at this time "knowledge will be increased." Indeed we have all been blessed with "the revelation of Jesus Christ," and "knowledge has been increased."

You will be greatly blessed by this presentation which Dave Rogers will be giving us, demonstrating how these e-sword modules work.

5 - 6 P.M. - Is reserved for fellowship and being at Colter's Restaurant by 6 P.M. for good Texas BBQ. Check what Deedle has posted for directions to the restaurant.

Sunday Morning

8 - 10 A.M. - Breakfast and fellowship.

10 - 11 A.M. - Mike Vinson will be speaking. He has entitled His talk Do You Want The Shadow Or Do You Want The Reality? This talk was inspired by a sermon Mike heard about how wonderful it would have been to have lived at the time of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshech, and Abednego.

The minister delivering this message is considered by many thousands of Americans to be a very spiritual man, and yet he has no concept of what Christ meant by this verse of scripture:

Mat 11:11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

When you leave this conference you will have a better idea of the truth of these verses of God's Word:

1Co 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co
2:10  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co
2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co
2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Mike will close with prayer asking God to bless us and help us all to apply the revelation of Jesus Christ we have been given to our lives.

11 - 12 Noon - Is reserved for fellowship and good byes for those who have to leave at this time. Darrell and Kristi LaCour have invited all who can to come to their home for a cook out Sunday afternoon. Sandi, Austin and I certainly plan to be there.

We look forward to seeing everyone of you in
Dallas.
